  • The term ‘Ashfield Mill Soaps’ or ‘us’ or ‘we’ refers to the owner of the website whose registered office is The Gatehouse, Ashfield Mill, Ashfield, Dunblane, FK15 0JX. The term ‘you’ refers to the user or viewer of our website.

  • The use of this website is subject to the following terms of use:

    • The content of the pages of this website is for your general information and use only. It is subject to change without notice. If need be, we will suspend access to the website or suspend it indefinitely. We will not be liable to you in any way of our website, or portions thereof, is unavailable to you at anytime for any period of time.

    • Your use of any information or materials on this website is entirely at your own risk, for which we shall not be liable. It shall be your own responsibility to ensure that any products, services, or information available through this website meet your specific requirements.

    • This website contains material which is owned by or licensed to us. This material includes, but is not limited to, the design, layout, look, appearance, and graphics. Reproduction is prohibited other than in accordance with our Copyright policy, which forms part of these terms and conditions.

    • Unauthorised use of this website may give rise to a claim for damages and/or be a criminal offence.

    • Your use of this website and any dispute arising out of such use of the website is subject to the laws of England, Northern Ireland, Scotland and Wales.

  • • All images and descriptions of the goods being sold are accurate to our knowledge.

    • The images advertising the goods being sold are those of the actual goods being sold. Our artisan soaps are made in small batches by hand. Therefore, the soap you receive may have minor variations from the image displayed when you chose to buy the product.

    • We cannot guarantee that there will always be a supply of the goods you want. We will indicate when stock is low using the “low stock” marker. If there is a lot of website traffic, you may find that the “low stock” indication may not be accurate.

    • The pricing of our soap is dependent on the cost of the ingredients used to make them. As such, we reserve the right to change the pricing of our soaps when necessary and without prior notice. This will not apply to any goods that you have already bought.

    • Sometimes soaps that may look more rustic than we would like, yet are still excellent soaps, will be sold at a reduced price.

    • All prices include VAT.

    • Delivery charges are not included in the price of the goods displayed. As you go through the order process, you will be able to chose your preferred delivery option. These charges will be added to your digital basket and will be visible when you review your basket prior to payment.

  • • Our website is designed to lead you through the process of placing an order. Prior to submitting your order, you will be able to review and amend it as you see fit. Ensure that you have checked your order carefully before submitting it.

    • The point where you order and pay for products, and we have accepted your order, is the point where we have formed a contract for the purchase and sale of goods.

    • Making mistakes – contact us as soon as possible if you make an error whilst ordering. Our contact email address is hello@ashfieldmillsoaps.co.uk. Please quote the order number when you contact us. We will be unable to change your order if we have already processed this and sent it out for delivery.

    • A contract is only formed with us when you place an order and we have accepted it. Our acceptance of your order will be confirmed by email at which point we have formed a contract with you. Your confirmation email will contain:

    - an order number

    - a confirmation of acceptance of your order

    - an itemised list specifying what you are paying for, as well as any delivery charges incurred.

    • You will also receive a paper copy of your order with your soap delivery.

    • If we are unable to accept or fulfil your order, we will contact your as soon as possible. Any payments accepted will be fully refunded as per our Refunds Policy.

    • Our contact with you ends when your goods have been received by you.

  • • Payment for your goods, and relevant delivery charges, must be made at the end of your order process before we accept your order.

    • Payment can be made through Stripe. This is a payment processing platform. You do not need an account to use this service.
